Every classroom here is built around a simple idea - that learning sticks when a child is doing something, not when they're being talked at. Our teachers prepare lessons the way a chef preps a kitchen: not with a script, but with ingredients.
We follow the National Curriculum Framework, but we read it as a starting point - not a ceiling. The CDC books sit on every desk. So do our own workbooks, classroom novels, and the questions children write at the back of their notebooks. All three matter.
Six stages, fifteen years, one continuous arc - designed so children move up without anything important being lost in the move.
Half of who a child becomes is shaped outside the lesson plan. We take this part of school just as seriously.
Cricket, football, basketball, badminton, table-tennis. Inter-school teams in five sports.
Painting studio, weekly music lessons, classical dance, theatre productions every term.
Debate, robotics, chess, eco-club, school newspaper. Every child must join at least one.
Bhaktapur in Grade 4. Pokhara in Grade 8. The Himalayas in Grade 11. We believe in going outside.
Every senior class spends one weekend a term volunteering at our partner schools in Sindhupalchok.
6,000 books. Open at 7 AM. Wednesdays are silent-reading days, school-wide.
